Hi Everyone,

We invite everyone who is interested in community service to join our group. Our Bridge To Action meeting will be held on Wednesday September 23rd @ 7:00 PM in the Jarrettown United Methodist Church located @ 1460 Limekiln Pike, Dresher, PA 19025. We will be out no later than 9:00 PM. A couple of days before the meeting I will send out a Meeting Agenda.

While we await our 501C3 status which will enable us to carry on with relationships and grant monies to enhance and grow our projects, we have an opportunity to send books to "Suzanne's Library" with Suzanne. Suzanne Yankowski and her husband are going to be in the US and returning to Costa Rica on 9/30. If you would like to donate books you can send them to the address below. Suzanne has room for about 20 pounds of books. Those interested in helping should insure the books arrive by 9/26.

You can send the books directly to Suzanne by ordering them through www.Amazon.com. The books should be shipped to :

Ronald Yankowski
c/o Edith Yankowski
Kennedy Apartments J-1
N. Main Street
Mechanicville, New York 12118

Click HERE for the list of books they would like to have, and for more information about this project please go to Suzanne's Library.

This project is headed by Mike Pancione. Mike is also working diligently on our 501c3 paperwork. Thank you Mike for all you do for BTA.

Thank you to everyone who has or will be contributing food to our Ambler Food Cupboard donation site at the Ambler Theater. Here is an excerpt from a letter written by Maria Rosen to the Theater Management,

"I wanted to give you an update on how the food donations are going. After a slow start, things are picking up nicely.

On August 3rd, we picked up and delivered 20 non-perishable food items; on August 17th, the number had increased to 31; yesterday I was pleased to deliver 100 items to the Ambler Food Cupboard. They were delighted, as am I. I know that Mattie Dixon was especially touched because these are such tough times. She said that every time she has a need, something like this occurs. I hope you feel as good about being a part of this as I do."

Thanks to Maria for her work, follow-up and persistence, not just with this project. Anyone who can help Maria with pick-up or delivery should contact Maria at maria.rosen@verizon.net.

Please continue to support this work and to spread the word about our donation center at the Ambler Theatre.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and my we continue to grow in love and peace to serve many.
